Sharon began working in the counseling environment over 20 years ago for New Life Ministries (then known as New Life Clinics) where she first functioned as the Director of Operations over the call center for one of their national inpatient hospital treatment centers, the Dr. Fred Gross Christian Therapy Program. Seven years later, New Life closed their hospital treatment programs and launched a national women’s conference known as Women of Faith. Sharon switched roles and worked as the National Director of Ministry for Women of Faith interacting with churches, leaders and ministries across the United States to bring women to the conferences in their cities for inspirational encouragement.
Sharon re-entered the counseling environment several years later as the Executive Director of Turning Point Counseling growing and managing a staff of 30 counselors and partnering with several churches to achieve their mission and goal. Then Sharon rejoined the staff of New Life Ministries where she served for several years as their National Director of Ministry Relations to oversee their Network of Counselors and Aftercare Phone Coaching Program.
Sharon brings this breadth of background and wide-range experience to her role as Executive Director of SPARE Ministries and Counseling Centers.
