Marisa has always enjoyed working with children, adolescents and young adults in many different environments.  As part of SPARE Counseling, Marisa comes alongside clients in healing from past hurts and moving toward a future of healthier relationships.  She likes to approach counseling from a humanistic point of view, using theories such as client-centered therapy, existential therapy, attachment theory and emotionally-focused therapy.

Following in her family’s footsteps, Marisa is a member of the United Methodist Church.  In her spare time, Marisa likes to relax by watching movies and television, spending time with her family, friends, pets and baking.
