Kim began her career in the hospital setting.  She provided counseling, support and community resources to patients and families struggling with cancer and other terminal illnesses.  She led cancer support groups and assisted families in adapting to the effects of illness.  Her experience expanded as she performed emergency room crisis counseling, as well as creating treatment plans for chronically mentally ill adults and providing individual and group therapy.  Kim discovered a deep compassion for those facing loss as she led bereavement groups and managed individual care at a local hospice program.  Currently, Kim is the clinic director at LivingWell Pregnancy Centers where her extensive background enables her to assist, comfort and counsel women facing unplanned pregnancies, as well as those suffering from the shame or guilt from a previous abortion.
As well as her vocation, Kim has learned valuable life skills through being married for 20 years and raising two young adult children.  She understands the complex roles and responsibilities of women and the stressors they encounter as they strive to balance their lives.  She also enjoys running and fitness, cooking and hosting friends and family at her home in Orange County, California.
Kim believes strongly in the power of transformed lives through changed thinking, deep healing and spiritual renewal.  She is passionate about guiding others to gain hope and healing as they take next steps through the counseling process.  Kim’s personal faith in Jesus and commitment to biblical principles anchors her own life and fuels her pursuit to help others achieve freedom in their lives.
